Self Isolation end of week 1

Here comes day 8 of our self isolation. School is officially off...that means we actually have to do some structured home learning. As we are settling to our new reality- I have let my routine slip...From 9-11 home schooling, we were 30 mins late and I did not have enough energy to pull kids back to "school mode". That meant kids now "normal" day was disturbed and there was no going back. I managed to negotiate some home schooling and some play in the garden. That cost me 1hour on tablet (small price to pay in current circumstances)- kids playing on tablets while I can do some work-priceless.

Lesson from today- routine helps my kids and me to stay sane. They know what to expect and somehow do follow the schedule. From tomorrow we are ready at 9 with our timetables and science project.
